  1. Navigate to CUNYFirst

  2. Click on Compass Icon (Top right)

  3. Click on "My Favorites"

  4. Scroll & Select "CS-Student Groups" -> Enter

  5. Input Students ID or their first name & last name -> Enter

  6. When creating a new SG > Academic institution needs to be set as HOS01> second box is desired SG (ECI or Hero) > inside the big box, hit the plus sign and add the effective and ineffective date necessary.

  7. Effective date needs to be before the semester starts therefore, no holds will be in the system for the student

  8. after inputting values click "Save"

Exception - 9-12 Students are active when they start their first semester and inactive at graduation.
